I have been a piano teacher for over 20 years. 

I teach out of my home in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn, specializing in kids ages 6 and up.  

 

I teach the fundamentals and basics--scales, reading music, music theory, playing by ear. My students play a lot of songs. Each student is different and I tailor lessons accordingly. As a result, I teach all styles of music. I do have a soft spot for Bach and Beethoven, so everyone has to try classical which is great for technique.

 

Lessons are a 1/2 hour.

I am not a strict teacher. I am all about the fun!

I have a piano recital in June for all of my students (which is required) and it is my favorite day of the year. 

Music is fun, music is love, music is life.
